StreamLadderalternative.

With StreamLadder a YouTube stream has to be downloaded and uploaded before it can be clipped. TwoReel takes the link. It finds the moments, stacks the facecam over the game, captions every word, and then lets you cut the clip by deleting words. It handles podcasts and interviews in the same job.

The link is enough

A finished YouTube stream already has an address. TwoReel takes that address and starts, for streams up to two hours long. There is nothing to download first and no file to keep on your disk.

Set a streamer up once

TwoReel places the camera and the game by itself. When you move either crop you can save the result as a layout, apply it to every clip in the batch, and pick it when you start the next job from the same streamer. A clipper working one creator's streams every week does the layout once.

The edit is in the words

Each clip opens with its transcript beside it. Select the filler, press Backspace, and those seconds are gone from the video. Restyle the captions in nine styles, retype a word the transcription got wrong, and export 1080 by 1920 again.

One tool for every client

TwoReel was built for long recordings of any kind. The job that stacks a facecam over gameplay will also take a two-hour podcast, an interview or a vlog and return captioned clips. A clipper or an agency working across creators does not need a second tool for the talking ones.

Why people pick TwoReel over StreamLadder

  • YouTube streams by link, with no download and upload.
  • Fix a clip by deleting its words.
  • Layouts saved per streamer and applied to the next job.
  • Streams, podcasts, interviews and vlogs in the same tool.
  • AI clip finding that is free during the beta.

Questions.

Do both keep the facecam in a vertical clip?

Yes. TwoReel finds the camera panel, stacks it over the gameplay, and lets you move and save both crops for the next job.

Does TwoReel work with Twitch and Kick streams?

Yes. Upload the recording as an MP4 or MOV file. Streams on YouTube are clipped straight from the link.

Is TwoReel free?

TwoReel is free during its closed beta. Join the Discord server, press one button, and your account is open.

Can TwoReel clip a podcast?

Yes. Podcasts, interviews, vlogs and stand-up go through the same job as streams.
